Re: WE, are not slaves.

I'm not certain, but pretty sure that the feral cats will only get meaner after the great cataclysm. Just sayin.

I feel for ya Scoobert. You are actually only about 20 years too late.

Many will talk about the late 70s as the golden age of cruising - where the confluence of tech, unspoiled anchorages and cultures and low cost travel all merged - but even as late as the early 90s there were still so many paradjses to be found. The Marina scourge hadnt started to really take hold yet and the fishing stocks hadnt been decimated - I dont see the schools of tuna swim with the boat the way they used too.

The world is not the way it was and it is not just the government - imagine trying to live off the land now versus 100 years ago - there just isnt the wildlife density anymore.

Some things are just....lost.

Maybe you should become a greenie environmentalist and try to restore some of what is lost?

Nah - easier to just bitch about it.

I love it when Scoobert drops a hornet's nest on the forum. How come no one has mentioned the unavoidable Zombie Apocalypse?

The original book by Max Brooks is actually a great read, I highly recommend it. The movie, not so much.

That's because you are unfamiliar with the fine print in the laws. Under Obamacare, some receive healthcare for free, while other's like my wife and I who do not currently receive any heath care services, are required to keep paying our health insurance premiums which go to subsidize others who can't pay or who wish not to pay.

Now brace yourself.... my wife and I pay $36,000 per year for health insurance and are now required under Obummercare to pay income tax on the $36,000. How is that fair?

Please don't judge our currently broken and corrupt healthcare system here in the USA unless you know all the facts. Obummercare sounds good in speeches, but horrible in reality. I'd like to convert over to a cash pay system for the two of us, but it's not so easy here in the US to do it. The system is completely corrupt and stacked against us.

I'm very familiar with Canada.... I'm a Canadian citizen.
