Whether it be a cove, marina, island, city, country, etc tell me where you've found the largest concentration of fabulous folks?

This is an easy one for me. It was the Marina 4 winter live aboard community in Toronto. Best neighbours ever, and some very good friends too.

Constitution Marina in Boston in the winter and the Abacos in the Bahamas. Bunch of sexy-ass hippies sailing around the Bahamas man. Unbelievable.

It's amazing how cruising will allow you to get to know people you might not ever talk to in regular land life. We've had lovely days hanging out with folks off megayachts in the Bahamas, or little motorboats in Maine. We're bonded by the mutual feeling of Holy sh!t can you believe how lucky we are to be here right now?

Take my advice avoid the friendly ones like the plague even if they are pretty! Even more so!

ive been at cape fear marina in wilmington nc for about a year doing a refit and the community of live aboards here is simply great everyone gets together on the weekends and grill out and have drinks and swap stories also everyone is quick to help each other out without question and the marina it self is very live aboard friendly definitely worth the trip up the cape fear river
