1000 Posts on CF

By my calculations, this should be my 1000th post on CF.

Just like on the SSB nets, some people post on CF because they have something to say, and some people post because they have to say something. I try to be the former, but this post is an exception.

Congrats!
My problem is I won't know how many I've posted until I post this....

Edit: It's 675. Why do I post? To ask questions to reduce my vast ocean of ignorance about sailing and sometimes to wind up MarkJ, but I think we all do that....

the unfortunate part is that you've earned your final star. not much to look forward to after the next thousand posts.

sigh.

This begs the question:

How about having a "Thanks per posts" ratio of posters icon on each post?

If Don doesn't respond to drivel postings can't we just unload a few on him right here ini his own thread without fear of him having a go at us? Vis a vie if he did it would look frivilous?

Glad I have 5,000 posts up Thats a ratio of 5000:1

Actually I have just hit a new level: Thanked many times <Blush> it was something else before.

LOL

I think it would be insteresting to see the ratio of Thanks to the ratio of people who have me on Ignore! More ignorers than thankers

Note to self:

Find something to thank Mark for--to help balance the ratio.

Reminds me of the guy in the Virgins who said he'd buy the first beer on his birthday. Everyone showed up at 8 a.m. and he just said "Too late."

Can we have a button to "ignore all 1000 plus posters"
