That is too good. Is that a store bought quote? Or do you write for Hallmark?

Hummmm, this thread makes me understand what the ex meant when she said, as she helped me pack, and after I was served, "I was replaced by a dog and a boat".

On the bright side, for me, I am no longer the"church guy" and I am not living my life through the sports accomplishments of my grandchildren.

As for her, methinks she is rethinking her position. It is interesting just how many really great women there are out there that that like my boat, my dog and for that matter, me, ( or they just love my dog. Who knows?). My dog is an apricot 15lb poodle that is a bad ass punker with a Mohawk. She flashed her breast and got beads recently, I discussed nipple rings with her but she thought 8 was too much.

I guess after 38 years change is not such a bad thing.

A boat is better than a wife because it goes where you want to go at the pace you wish to travel at. It doesn't bitch about you taking your time, nor will it worry when you're sitting in the middle of the ocean laying on the foredeck stark naked. Oh. One thing's for sure, you can buy things to make the boat better, hell, you buy a woman anything 9/10 times it ends up in the trash or the back of a closet for most of its life!

When you take your boat out for dinner it doesn't eat much, drinks nothing and costs little. The other diners may look at you a bit oddly but that beats the crap outta all the guys leeering at your wife!
