Begging for money

You reckon I should try and start begging for money on my blog before or after April 15th?

Re: Begging for money

Based on the two options given I would say after. Before April 15th those that are not getting a refund won't have any money anyway. After April 15th those that get a refund might feel flush and be inclined to share.

On the other hand, I didn't see an option for neither or never or fugidaboutit.

After, then you catch folks with their refund check.

Re: Begging for money

I have to go with "before" because usually people that wait until April 15th aren't getting a refund, they're paying.

I just sent my money to Mr. Obama yesterday, because he is wise, and knows better than I do about how to spend it, so I cannot donate to your worthy cause at this time.

Bummer, I'm getting a great deal on my blue cross this year though so I'll let you off this year.

Re: Begging for money

Oh, and thanks for saying "Mr Obama" I really appreciate people that show respect.

Believe it or not guy a few houses down from me just bought a new Mercedes this week and had a left over Romeny bumper sticker he just put on it. I should totally hit him up today.

Re: Begging for money

Look, if your not begging year round your not showing enough initiative. Where is your work ethic? Furthermore you won't get any cash from that guy with the Merc....its all off shore. If you do find some cash, let me know. April 15 is putting a crimp on spring refit.

Re: Begging for money

Maybe I'll head a few doors further down the block to Stanley Paris's house. I guess Kiwi spirit required less of a massive refit than first imagined as it's been tied up at his house the last few weeks here on my block in St augustine. Apparently no issues for the pros couldn't handle on the way back from Cape Town.

Stanley Paris is a total jag off and should give us all a few bucks not to strangle him. We'll call it protection money, something new I just came up with. If you want I can tell you what I really think of the guy.

Since you were apparently in a coma from 20 Jan 2001 until 20 Jan 2009 (and probably during the '80's too), why don't you go to the US Treasury website that tracks the real, actual National Debt numbers over time.
Then do a few simple 'date range' searches, crunch some numbers (add/subtract them, not too difficult), and see what really happens when Congress spends our tax money on all that good stuff we all like:
Debt to the Penny (Daily History Search Application)

Or is reality a might too hard to face?

Some people obviously can't recognize an attempt at humor. (This thread is a joke after all!)

Whatever...

I figure at least he's spending the money on a boat for some stupid stunt as opposed to getting half carried up Everest or a 30 second space flight, crazy superpac, etc, etc. He comes from a family or marine record setters. Don't forget his son that lived as a baby in Bermuda and is totally the first bermudian to circumnavigate. Or at least the first one with any care to spend the time and money promoting that about himself.
