After catching the flu from the grandkids at christmas, today was the best since. Changed oil and serviced both eng. Picked up all the tools still laying around from several small finished projects and stowed them away. Tomorrow we haul the final trash ashore and retrieve our dock lines. Southbound and down, best day of the new year for me.

You can't blame Maggie for the taxes imposed by successive Gov's on fuel, alcohol and cigarettes... they're the 'Milk Cow' of the state...

yep but she was the one who spotted the loop hole and capitalized on it,up untill then we had cheap fags,cheap booze,just like lenin said we the people should have to keep em appy,bloody doo gooders,how we going to deal with the stress now.
stay at home,watch east enders,and drink low alchol beer,even that is taxed to the hilt.

Portugals a great places to live. next to the Gulf Stream,
tobacco 50gms/4.50euro... Croft Brandy 9euro... its a tough life....

I'll have to wait another 6 months to check that out...

In Edmonton on a cold winters day the thought that it was worse in Winnipeg kept me going! Sure glad I left that behind. I left Edmonton in a -50C blizzard. Couldn't look back even if I wanted to!
