Re: END OF THE WORLD !!@!!!

My insurance doesn't cover it. Says it's an "ACT OF GOD". Lost out again.
On the other hand, ya'll know how much I love "end of the world" threads, so let's keep it going until everyone else sorta poofs away and we're all left speechless with our mouths hangin' open!

Well it's 4:05 pm now here in China, and I haven't been raptured yet... Guess I'm not a chosen one, or maybe I get picked up on the NEXT end of the World.

Logically it will be UTC, also known as GMT, or Greenwich Mean Time - so called becasue we all know that Greenwich is at the centre of the earth. And that's just one more reason why the entire world bows to the English.

Re: END OF THE WORLD !!@!!!

Well, it's after noon here, and HWMO is still sleeping soundly. I don't want to spend my last day in bed though - need to wake him and get out on the boat...

Re: END OF THE WORLD !!@!!!

I seem to recall that the last time the world received a "make-over", a big boat was involved.

Re: END OF THE WORLD !!@!!!

I get confused sometimes on this. Are the "winners" the ones that get taken or are they the ones that get left behind and get the run of the planet?

I have my eye on some new boat toys!

I was not aware of this happening today. So I am a little unprepared. Now that I know I an taking precautions. Does anyone know if grib files or radar will pick up the end of the world. I am planning on sailing around the end or if I can out sail it. Any pointers or a lat long of where the end of the world is would be greatly appreciated.

Re: END OF THE WORLD !!@!!!

Got a chuckle out of this from a BBC story on the subject:

Quote:
An atheist and entrepreneur from North Hampshire, Bart Centre, is enjoying a boost in business for Eternal Earth-bound Pets, which he set up to look after the pets of those who believe they will be raptured.

He has more than 250 clients who are paying up to $135 (£83) to have their pets picked up and cared for after the rapture.

They would be disappointed twice, he told the Wall Street Journal. "Once because they weren't raptured and again because I don't do refunds."
