English Channel Weather !?

What's the story? 15 degrees and rain? We're going to spend August and September cruising the English channel and Channel Islands. I promised the admiral near tropical conditions and if I don't deliver I might end up on the bottom of the channel wrapped in 200ft of chain! Is it really supposed to be like this?

It is not much better here in central Canada Hampus. It feels like early spring or late Fall. Hopefully, the sailing season will happen soon. That being said, we still get out at least four times a week.........Allan
