While Mark hides from nice warm hurricanes, we are hiding from a chilling blast from the Antarctic. Doesn't that make you dream of home Mark?

Yep that's a compressor for making things colder. Looks like you found what everyone was after. Now can you make it work.

Re: Enough CF - I'm Going Sailing !

I get to be home only two days in the next week but then will be off to the islands for a week. If the winds allow I would like to visit our friends in BC for a day or two. I need to apply a couple more coats of Cetol to the doghouse window frames before I go. My eldest son should be along for the cruise.

You go Don.....You gotta be lovin that new boat.

spent a blustery night anchored out in Paradise Cay last night. Returned to port this morning, and took on fuel for Delta cruise beginning in a week. 45 gallons of diesel, 5 gallons of beer, and 3 gallons of wine.

Re: Enough CF - I'm Going Sailing !

Hi Guys at last at last tomorrow I am off north after a 7month refit . The weather here in Far North Queensland is stunning so look forward to spending time on the reef and places further north the Plan is no plan but will be away about 5 months so a big smile on my face I load the last supplies today as next resupply will be from Trawler mother Ships along the way. I feel sorry for you guys in the states as we call 15c cold here so winter lasts about 2 weeks and we are already passed that. Hope to keep in touch with some shots as I have fitted good coms while in Cairns Cheers Jacko

Re: Enough CF - I'm Going Sailing !

Spent friday night at the club BBQ. Hot n sticky. Then I climbed up on SD to put the air conditioner frame together. Got that done, tried to run the AC but I think my cord is fried. Got too dark to futz around on deck with no light or lifelines so i went home. Was in bed like a good lad at 11pm

Re: Enough CF - I'm Going Sailing !

Finally had great weather in the San Juans this weekend. We're anchored in Ship's Bay, Eastsound, Orcas island. It's spectacular. So far eagles, sea lions, seals, porpoises, herons, sea otters, and our kids in the water. Summer at last. And we got to fly our new spinnaker. Cruising next week too, then back to civilization....
