Entry-Level Marine Mechanic

Anyone have any idea what an entry-level marine mechanic might expect to be paid in the northeast (US)?

Going by what they charge me I think all must start on 1 million dollars per year, but get onto the real money after that.

An apprentice diesel mechanic, with 1 - 4 years experience, can expect to earn about ± $8 - $20 an hour, in Canada.
A journeyman mechanic, with 5 - 9 years experience could expect to earn between ± $13 to $22/hour.

I wouldn't expect much difference in the NE USA>

Obviously, employers charge much more for their services (3 - 6 times salary) than they pay their tradesmen.
