Got an Interesting Fortune Cookie the Other Day

It's not often you get a message in a fortune cookie geared to sailors:

That would have freaked me out!

I have gotten some interesting ones...a few were related to sailing and the sea when we were contemplating cruising...Two that I saved are "A ship in harbor is safe, but that is not why ships are built." and "Even the greatest of whales is helpless in the middle of the desert." Saved them to give me a boost through the transition of moving aboard...

Definitive fortune cookie received in SF years ago:
"A man who will believe a fortune from a cookie will believe anything"

Cheers,

Jim
