iPhone SIM card swapping question

I lost my iPhone 4 over the weekend, so yesterday I bought a 16-gig iPhone 5. My wife has the 64-gig iPhone 5. We want to swap phones. Before I make any changes I'll regret, I want to make sure I know what I'm doing.

So I know I can swap the SIM cards, but that doesn't bring over all the apps, music & photos etc. If I swap the cards and then do a sync, I'm assuming my wife's 64-gig iPhone 5 would now show all my apps and stuff yes? Or are there some other hoops I need to jump through?

The sim really has nothing for apps on an iPhone. Your apps are associated w your apple ID. You should be able to install all the apps you have at no cost. If you use iCloud most of your personal data should be recoverable.

Also, if you get an iPod or iPad your apps should duplicate with your ID.

My point of reference is an AT&T iPhone if that makes a deference.
