Has anyone watched the NatGeo "Lawless Oceans" series?

Any thoughts?

Thoughts along what lines exactly? The tricks networks play in order to get good ratings?

No, more along the line of dealings with Chinese long liners in the open ocean or open ocean fishermen in general. I don't think most cruisers realize who they are sharing the seas with on major crossings.

So what? It's entertainment for someone. It doesn't matter if it's sports, amateur singers, or porn.

Oh... you mean like the Ecuadorian fishermen in open 25ft boats with outboards who offered to barter Swordfish for smokes and beer 200 odd miles West of the Galapagos.. or the Spanish fishing boat out of Bayona who offered fish for canned meat 400nm West of the Azores..
