Mac Sux!

This might not be a thread about what you assumed! I ordered my iPad 2 on release day and I still have 20 more days to wait according to Apple. The suspense is just killing me!

My trackpad on my MBP has a glitch (thanks to the coffee I dumped in it), and I don't want to send it off for repair until the iPad shows up. My "spare" laptop is on the boat in KW, and I'm in Sarasota; that leaves only my iPhone for my "habit" if I send off the MBP!

So to Apple I say: "build them THEN release them; the wait is killing me!"

[/rant]

I thought they were already out?! Even when I ordered my wife's macbookpro 17", it didn't take that long and they had to build it to order.

Re: Mac Sux!

I get my Apple stuff fixed at those neighborhood $50 flat rate computer repair boiler rooms.
Been lucky so far.
Those 9 year old technicians are pretty sharp.

I have to agree on that.
I like the Mac, but it makes me have to think to use it's functions.
The PC just seems to flow and do all my thinking for me,, kinda like my wife does.

Re: Mac Sux!

If you think the MAC is LESS user friendly then you have probably just been a life long windows user. I bet if you could take to children now and teach them both systems for a week you wouldn't find a child in the world that didn't think the mac was more user friendly. I do feel the need to state that 5 years ago I convertesd to MAC and am a complete mac fan.

I had a high powered MBP that I retired after I broke the screen hinge. I didn't want to dump another $3K+ into a new MBP and ended up getting the high end Macbook Air. The only thing I miss is the backlit keyboard.

Ah. you just have to say that to justify having spent so much on it
