The F35B is in production and the USMC is going to start regular training in NC in November. Looks like less than 20 have been built if you include all production from this year.

Its really odd they deployed that plane.

It does have some very unique sensor capabilities but you would think NATO could handle this with current planes.

I would love to know why that plane is there.

Course, maybe it is just an inflatable decoy.
