Re: Need advise

Welcome to the forum, Drew.

I'm sure there are people on the forum who can help you, but it's going to take much more specific questions. R.I. to Hawaii is a book, not a reply.

Re: Need advise

Hi Drew and welcome to the forum.

Could you clarify one point for me. Are you being asked to sail the boat to Hawaii yourself as the captain or are you being asked to be one member of what I'm guessing would be a large crew on the boat?

Re: Need advise

What sort of 100’ boat is this?

Sled? Cruiser? Motoryacht?

What is your role in the “sailing” of this vessel?

All of these. Also, depends on the route and plan for the trip; a long, sight seeing, relaxing trip or get it there asap delivery.

Based on answers to all the above the trip could take two months or twenty months.

If the intention is to take a role as captain, the nature of the question indicates the OP may not have the requisite skills to achieve this goal.

Charts and route planning will yield distances.

To the OP:

Have you ever sailed a 100 vessel?

Have you made an ocean crossing?

Have you ever engaged in such a relocation?

What is your expected role on this trip?

Re: Need advise

Are they going to pay you? Or are you paying them? Either way, please post a photograph of the vessel or a link to her.
