Re: Not your average gun thread...

You did not go over to see the target after Sportcoat had left?

Love the .454, but a bit much for the boat. Have a 12" TC Encore (hunting pistol) that pushes 330 grain GCLFP with 25 grains of 2400 powder. Illuminates the entire range backstop and sounds like a rifle. Light loads or frangibles in my .44 revolver do just fine aboard.

WHAT A LET DOWN!!!!!!!!!!!

Conclusion to the story goes like this....

Twas a new "security watchman dude"... Simply letting a load go just because he could...

The guy fancies himself as a cross between Sam Spade and Rhet Butler... I was headed past the office where new security guy was sitting outside... White T-shirt, Panama hat.... He says to me...

"You walk like a man who is tiyaaahhd (tired)"....

He's drinking something out of a tall hurricane glass with a straw, and I reply... "Exhausted man... looks like you've got a cocktail goin' on"....

"Aaayesssed coffee my friend..."

That's just what I figgered. It's the south, man! People shoot stuff for no particular reason all the time in those parts...

Shooting stuff is fun. Isn't that enough reason?
As far as the op I'm wondering if anything was really shot??

No doubt.... At the house.... If I don't hear gunfire everyday.... within spray range ... I worry that there is something wrong.... Pretty constant for sure!
