That graph matches just about every other global temperature map. It shows the 1940 - 1970 cooling that resulted from the war and post-war boom, followed by increased warming as a result of the enactment of the Clean Air Acts.

what was the annual temp anomaly for each of the last 20 years .

You can't cherry pick a specific month at preach end and claim a trend doesn't work that way .
