Re: Post the Worst "For Sale" Picture You've Seen.

Even worse, chip board doesn't burn very well and leaves lots of ash!

What brought tears to my eyes was the pretty paint job on the 4-108 with what looks like the whole lower end in water and rust. I had to look at it a minute and the light went on. (I have the same engine)

E Bay bargain for just £1, that about $1.50. Might need a bit of paint work doing The wood will be so wet this one can't even go in a wood burner.

Hey, the fenders are worth £1.

I just can't help wonder what, exactly, they're protecting.

And I told them to just post interior shots of the boat.

I think I'd prefer the sunk boat!

Well this one is a good candidate. A guy taking the pictures, thinks he is artsy-fartsy.

May be it was that last beer and the trauma of getting rid of her!

This is a perfect example! It's not so much that the boat is a piece of junk--in fact it looks very nice--but it's the fact that the pictures do not show you what you want to see, if you are trying to decide whether you are interested in the boat or not. I mean, seriously. A picture of a berth turned on its side? Give me a break!

Is he trying to sell the boat, or is he trying to show off his photographic talents? I think he needs to make up his mind which. Right now he is not doing either very well!

Re: Post the Worst "For Sale" Picture You've Seen.

I wonder if he promised his wife, he would sell the boat...only to have people pass on it because of the weird pictures?

Re: Post the Worst "For Sale" Picture You've Seen.

Okay, not a picture, but I saw an ad today for a "40' catamoron."

Yes, that really is how they spelled it. Which I thought was pretty funny, since you have to be kind of a moron not to know that the boat you own is a catamaran.
