Re: RSYC (Royal Snob Yacht Club)

"And how does one recognize a real Pict? Color scheme, straight teeth, any other visual signs or else? " Chaz

Kidding aside, they were described by the Romans as tall, reddish hair and covered in tattoos. They apparently wore no armor although some were known to wear cravats and had an obsession with board shorts and jandles. Here's a link: loganswarriorblog.blogspot.com/2011/08/celtic-analysis-part-2-picts.html Good luck, good sailing and cheerio!

Re: RSYC (Royal Snob Yacht Club)

I like the burgee.

Now we need a ensign. Since really one cannot be used without the other

I suggest Hendricks as the tipple of choice

Certainly. However we are currently having some difficulty with the members of the associated manservant and fags union. Seemingly union reps via collectible bargaining are demanding the removal of " trashing "

However your reference to Hendricks makes me wonder if your pretensions to royal status may be in fact fakery. Her majesty , does not take kindly to that sort of thing , I'll have you know.

Re: RSYC (Royal Snob Yacht Club)

The very first royalty in feudal times were millers and bakers. Those who ground wheat and made the bread. The word "Lord" comes from an old german word that means "keeper of the loaf." The word "Lady" comes from old german, "loaf digger," that is, someone kneading bread.
Just as now, the people handling the "bread" are in control.

Re: RSYC (Royal Snob Yacht Club)

As a sailing friend of ours liked to put it: "I would not like to be a member in any club that would accept me as a member". ;-) All the Royal this Yacht that Members only. ;-) At this point, we are flying the pink ensign, but we are seriously considering going for the rainbow one. ;-) Which will effectively put Vatican off our cruising limits. ;-)

Love,
b.

Send over my manservant? I don't think so... Old Scrotum ( my wrinkled retainer ) would probably give notice if I even suggested it.... and its many years since he noticed anything.

I don't think the RSYC is really for me... I'll probably just keep paying my dues at the Futtocks End Boat Club, Glue Works Lane, Holehaven, Essex.

(3 'movies' in there... prizes may or may not be awarded...).

>Indeed!!!!

Inst3ead of a thrashing - we could make him drink said Henricks.

People of the true royal line only drink The Botanist. Ask Dockhead or read the thread on

http://www.cruisersforum.com/forums/...ge-137248.html

I'm in the unfortunate position that my bottle of The Botanist has run dry this evening. I shall have to be more cognizant of the stock form now on

Our books have gotten 5 star reviews on Amazon. Several readers have written "I never thought I would go on a circumnavigation, but when I read these books, I was right there in the cockpit with Vinni and Carsten"
