Saturday Morning Coffee & Weather

Good Morning All!

I've just brewed up a pot of Tim Horton's finest to share with everyone. So help yourself to a cup and enjoy.

Weather here in my part of Canada is 10F right now going all the way up to..... 23F later today. Winds 6 mph from the SW. Not that I had any sailing in the plans!

Sitting at the kitchen table thinking about our 10 day charter from St. Lucia in 3 weeks.

Wherever you are, have a great day everyone.

The admiral has made her usual extra bold coffee.. It is a great wake-me-up. Overcast sky, with temps expected to get up to near 40F later this afternoon. I will use most of the day to paper my planned boat projects and make a trip to check on the boat to take some more measurements.

Feeling a little under the weather so a cup of tea is the drink of choice this morning. Sunny and 30 F here in DC. But, having warm thoughts about an upcoming sail out of St. Thomas heading for the Spanish Virgins is keeping me going. To paraphrase John Lennon 'Whatever gets you through the night winter'

Re: Saturday Morning Coffee & Weather

Just finished a cup of Newman's special blend in the Keurig coffee machine. Would prefer a more primitive brew be it camping out or anchored in a remote cove. 23 degrees F this morning in the mountains of North Carolina with temperatures going into the high 30's by noon. No excuse for not going for a morning jog.

Drinkin' Dunkin this morning, 33 degrees, sun is coming out with nice white clouds in a blue sky, with a gusty NW breeze. A nice warm up from the 10 below zero we had a couple of days ago here in upstate New York.

Good morning krafthause, and all. Sipping my morning brew, costco brand. Mild here in Vancouver, but cloudy/rainy. Have been off work for over a month recovering from surgery, bored silly, and beginning to plan a haulout for bottom paint and replacement of some through-hulls. ( Come to think of it, the boats gettin similar treatment I had done in surgery last month.)

And good morning to you also shorebird. We've chartered from Granville Island in Vancouver a number of times and truly enjoy that area all the way from Sidney/Saltspring Island up to Desolation Sound. Best of luck with recovery from your and your boat's surgery!

Zeehag, you've joined us for morning coffee before. Are you up yet in Mexico?

Costco/Starbucks French Roast, so strong it will float a spoon. It was 42F at dawn in San Diego, but it's on its way up into the 60's today. I'm going to play with an air leak in my fuel line today.
