Human activity inflicts four-day rain delay, hampers hydrological cycle

Rising greenhouse gases and declining aerosols have triggered an approximate four-day delay in rainfall over tropical land and the Sahel.

Earth bears many signs of human influence, from warming that exceeds pre-industrial temperatures to a rising sea.

Add to that list, now, the human influence on the timing of Earth's water cycle, revealed by a new study [1] led by researchers at the U.S. Department of Energy's Pacific Northwest National Laboratory.

The research [1], published this week in the journal Nature Climate Change, peels back layers of climatological noise to uncover a clear signal: from 1979 to 2019, increases in greenhouse gases and reductions in human-generated aerosols triggered an approximate four-day delay in seasonal rainfall over tropical land and the Sahel. The lag could mean delayed crop production, exacerbated heat waves, and worsened wildfires, among other consequences.

In a billion years, or so, it will be too hot for life to exist on Earth

Over the coming hundreds of millions of years, the Sun will continue to get progressively brighter and hotter. Oxygen levels will start to fall drastically at around 1 billion years in the future, and in 1 or 2 billion years, temperatures will be high enough to evaporate our oceans, making life on Earth impossible.
Our planet will become a vast desert similar to Mars today. As it expands into a red giant in the following few billion years, scientists predict that the Sun will finally engulf Earth altogether, spelling the definite end for our planet.

Cosmic Ice Theory:

For most of us, it's easy to distinguish between real science, and pseudoscience.
Real science requires testing hypotheses, a rigorous analysis of the results, and peer review, after which the findings are either debunked, tweaked, or accepted as fact.
Pseudoscience dresses itself up in the clothes of science, but doesn't play by the same rules, particularly when it comes to abandoning ideas, that fail to pass peer review.

In 1894, Austrian engineer Hanns Hörbiger observed that the moon was shiny and rough, much like ice. Then, he had a dream of himself floating in space, observing a swinging pendulum whose tether eventually broke. These two events were enough for him to develop his Welteislehre, or World Ice Doctrine.

The doctrine argued that ice is the fundamental building block of the universe, with icy celestial bodies and an icy ether that permeates the universe.

This bizarre cosmological model wouldn't have gained any traction whatsoever were it not for two developments.
First, after being completely dismissed by the scientific community, Hörbiger marketed his theories directly to the people, a tactic that has led to the unnatural long life of many pseudoscientific theories.
Second, the Nazis came to power.

The Nazis had expelled many scientists from Germany, particularly Jewish ones. Among these was Albert Einstein, whose theory of relativity was not well-regarded amongst the Nazi community.

World Ice Doctrine served as an alternative cosmological model. Both Adolf Hitler and Heinrich Himmler, one of the more occult-leaning Nazis, were notable proponents of the theory.

While the actual mechanics of the Holocaust [an irrational program] were planned with a cruel and meticulous rationality, the Nazis were fundamentally unscientific, picking and choosing beliefs founded on pseudoscience, in order to support their worldview. It's no wonder, then, that they would have had an enduring obsession with the occult.

Public release of specific campaign dates is usually made a few days prior to the start of the campaign. Exact frequencies often are not determined until immediately before the individual experiment, due to the constantly changing nature of the ionosphere.
There was no mention of any projects for June 21 to June 25, on the University of Alaska Fairbanks HAARP website.

Are There Any Long-Term Effects of Ionispheric Heating?
No.
Since the ionosphere is inherently a turbulent medium that is being both stirred up and renewed by the sun, artificially induced effects are quickly obliterated. Depending on the height within the ionosphere where the effect is originally produced, these effects are no longer detectable after times ranging from less than a second to 10 minutes.

A good analogy to this process is dropping a stone in a fast-moving stream. The ripples caused by the stone are quickly lost in the rapidly moving water and are completely undetectable a little farther downstream. A UAF Geophysical Institute scientist compared HAARP to putting an “immersion heater in the Yukon River.”

Can HAARP Control or Manipulate the Weather?
No.
Radio waves in the frequency ranges that HAARP transmits are not absorbed in either the troposphere or the stratosphere—the two levels of the atmosphere that produce Earth’s weather. Since there is no interaction, there is no way to control the weather.

The HAARP system is basically a large radio transmitter. Radio waves interact with electrical charges and currents, and do not significantly interact with the troposphere .

Further, if the ionospheric storms caused by the sun itself don’t affect the surface weather, there is no chance that HAARP can either. Electromagnetic interactions only occur in the near vacuum of the rarefied, but electrically charged region of the atmosphere above about 60-80 km (a little over 45 miles), known as the ionosphere. The ionosphere is created and continuously replenished as the sun’s radiation interacts with the highest levels of the Earth’s atmosphere.


HAARP has been fingered as a mind-control network, an alien-invasion defense system, and the source of an electro-magnetic pulse that destroyed the Space Shuttle Columbia in 2003.
But mostly HAARP has been blamed for the weather, because HAARP controls the weather.
Among the events chalked up to its power: Hurricane Gustav, which prevented George W. Bush from appearing live at the Republican National Convention, and Hurricane Katrina, staged to increase the cost of oil; the catastrophic earthquakes in New Zealand, China’s Sichuan province, Chile, Iran, Japan, and Haiti (so the U.S. could occupy it, a “coup by earthquake”); and now, the recent North-West heat waves.

Except for one thing the heating would necessarily affect the thermosphere and it is actually getting colder instead of warmer which it should be doing by this point in the new solar cycle if it were going to be a strong cycle like some are predicting .
