Searching Craig's List

I wonder if anyone knows a way to search all of Craig’s List for boats at one go? I can’t find any way on their site, and with something like a boat, or a plane, which could theoretically be bought anywhere in the world, you would think they would have a method of searching the whole database. It’s just another area in my endless search for the right ship.

I've had the best results from Google. In the search field put in "Craigslist and boats". You won't get one list with all the boats but the results will list the city first. You can replace "boats" with the specific type of boat you're looking for ie. "Craigslist and Searay". Sometimes you have to go 5 or more pages into the search results to find what you're looking for.

I use crazedlist.org. It is best to search by regions as Craigslist may block you if you
try too many at one time. It also works best with Firefox as your browser.
crazedlist.org : search craigslist like a madman

Another site to search all of craigslist is craiglook.com. Seems to work okay.

I spent a fair amount of time and money unsuccessfully searching for a boat....until I got smart. Instead of looking for boats that might interest me on Craigslist (and elsewhere), I posted an ad explaining exactly what type(s) of boat I was looking for. The boat that found me wasn't even advertised for sale.

Good idea. Did you post on Craigslist or other sites or both?
