Share Charter - Greece, Turkey, Croatia etc Sept 2012

My Wife and I are interested in doing a share charter / rent a cabin for a week or so in mid september. Possible dates 7th - 20th September

Has anyone done this or have any ideas. We are open to locations or destination as we have a few weeks in Europe and could get anywhere to depart and leave from anywhere to get back to LHR on the way out.

We are both mid 30s, non smokers, social + drinkers, Aussie, and reasonably adventurous.

There seem to be a few companies offering share charters, but we are open to a private deal as well.

my wife and i are looking into sailing charters in Croatia around sept 8. we'll be in croatia from sept 5 - 20. we were really thinking about a 4 day trip but are finding that with a few exceptions most everything is geared toward week long trips. we were looking mainly at the split / hvar area and dubrovnik area would be cool also. would be nice to share the cost with someone and of course fun. i've started looking into charters but don't know anything you can't learn from an hour of internet research. we're from the US, 32 and 31 years old, also drinkers/social. we'd like to do some sailing and also spend some time exploring the islands.
