Got my bags!! Thank you Cebu Airlines, a few days late, but hey, I got them, right?

A lot of innuendos about the young lasses here. First, I don't hang with the kind who are likely to give you something to remember her by and not in a positive way. Second, just because it's a 3rd world country, doesn't mean the women are any less respectable, ya' know? Sure there are "those" kind of women around, but name one country where there aren't? 'Nuff said on that.

Tomorrow I'm going out to tour the city by cab, and will take my just delivered camera along so I can post some pics.....if I can remember how to post pics here

Ya'll enjoy yourselves in the mean time, I'm certainly going to.

Regards,

Thomas

That 'boat' is absolutely ludicrous. Obscene, unnecessary, and un-called for.

I say that with the utmost respect and envy, of course.

That IS one beautiful boat. I'd like to go on a LONG cruise on her, just me and all my Cruisers Forum friends! Big enough to hold both nudists and non-nudists.

Then we'll know just how obscene the sailing life can be!

Margo

Seriously, how big a hypocrite does my appreciation of her make me look after all my minimalist, simplistic and low cost comments I have made elsewhere on the forum? Still, she is one incredibly classy boat that I just cannot help but admire when she is sitting there in person. She is almost as stunning as any naked woman.

Then that big hydraulic dive platform on the port waterline would be perfect clothes free bathing!

You really need to get up close and have a good look at the finishing touches! I really hope they hoist the sails when she leaves port. It would be a great sight.

Yeah, I'm trying. Since I had no takers for the "go sailing with me, maybe it will grow into more" scenario I was hoping for here, I'm going a different direction.

I've lined up crew to go with me all the way through Bahamas, DR, PR, VIs, and on to Panama. I'll leave in a week or two.

I've gotten a little dog to spoon with at night - not the same as a true mate, but it'll have to do for now!

Good luck to all of you,
Margo

I can’t believe the “no takers” bit! Well I suppose I can as I have the exact same problem over here. Everyone are just so happy in the suburbs living lives vicariously through sport stars and celebrities puffed up by the media.

I even had a mate who was coming around to help me on the boat today bailout. At least he did legitimately get called into work and I appreciate the fact he is one of the few people who are actually happy to get involved in the shore work. Nevertheless, it did take me a while to convince him I am not going to be sodomised by pirates and that I don’t need to pack a gun. Maybe politely explaining that Samoa is no where near Somalia helped?

Anyway, I should give him a call and drag him out fishing after work while the tide is high on dark. If he bails out again it will be me, fluffy and the live baits.

I am also more than happy to meet other interesting friends so thanks for the friends invite. It is really just so frustrating that so many of you are all around the world. Still this is a great reason to get down the boat and get to work.
