Who knows, you might even run into me in those waters one day....but not during the blow season. Benn there, done that, no thanks once was enough.

Congratulations! When is the joyous day? Just so we can all raise a glass and add our blessings.

Re: Single Sailors Seeking Soul Mate Group

Well my girl is in the water, new name and main sail. They finished the fiberglass work 1 hour before the splash!! I installed the new Garmin electronics myself and everything acutally works!!!
Really like the NEMA 2000 stuff. Now for a great summer of sailing the Great Lakes. School is out June 10 and the summer begins!!!

Re: Single Sailors Seeking Soul Mate Group

As long as we're sharing thresholds and milestones.....

....after nearly 5 years on the hill, and a year and a half of my care, Sympatico was splashed April 29th and we motored May 1st to our new home near Cape Fear. There were a few glitches along the way (after a thousand "issues" on the hard) but she's a sweet gal that I am thrilled to have in my life.

The plan is to move aboard June 1st (thanks SM for some sage advice) and be ready to chase the him-and-hurricanes out of the tropics in October. Anyone need mirrors, lamps, rugs, or kitchen gadgets?
