Great point, a little bright work is ok but never an engine overhaul, leave that to someone who loves a hopeless case (God).

Sounds like Ocean Girl has learned her lessons very well about maintenance.

zeehag, just remember that in physics - stable systems always lead downward into chaos. There's no place else to go. Hmmmm i wonder if that can be said of baddy-boyz too...do they move up to stability?

i think they self destruct unless they see the errors in their ways early on--like before age 60..some last forever as they were at age 20...scary thought
the old ones keep a glint in their eyes that is rather attractive, actually--i think the attraction to them in the first place might be the sparkles in the eyes..

i adore men whose little boy is still alive and active and still gets them into trouble--isnt a bad boy, but is filled with LIFE!!!!
and i have ADD, so i tend to remember my lessons in a slightly tardy fashion. oops! now i let bubba daboatkat screen my potentials-if he agrees, we proceed. he is finicky. gooood kitty!!

saltymonkeyboy---so, if stability leads downward into chaos, conversely, would starting out in chaos ultimately lead to stability???

zeehag - well I have seen it both ways - kidz starting off in a bad way and becoming successful and full of life. I've also seen kidz starting off in a bad way and becoming successful and full of life and still having some bad things they inherited from parents and growing up.

the ladies on this site put us all to shame - full of confident, self sufficient, and aware.

If I remember my physics, maintaining order, or stability, let alone an increase in order, against the pull of entropy requires an input of energy. So I guess any relationship requires effort - just some need more than others!

i think we should save the worship for the deified souls. mine isnt deified and i would not enjoy being the subject of worship. the higher the elevation, the farther the fall.

saltymonkeyboy--you are sounding almost human--yipes.....skeering me!!!

I was going to follow up to Gadagirls challenge (to list things considered important in a relationship / partner) with the 3 top things you consider you bring to the table......and the 3 worst

But I realised that for me too revealing. and the lists mostly the same
