OK, I will try to dance around this.

A friend of mine was over at "the widow's" house, as he described her. She, as he told it was a woman with quite an appetite. They had been drinking a bit and eating Mexican Food with lots of hot sauce and peppers.

They moved on to the other room for a bit of activity and he decided to start at the bottom and work his way up. She immediately said OH NO you don't as she pulled his head up. He ask why and she went on to tell him.

Seems she once had a boyfriend down in Gun Barrel City, some 80 miles from her home. The same scenario with the Mexican food and she did not stop the guy going oral. She dressed and left and according to her a slow burn became a fire down there. She described it as 80 miles of misery.

Ok, there's the disconnect. I grew up in Jersey. Dated guys named Vince and Tony. Damn those creeps never taking me to a Posh pizza place! I feel slighted and stupid now.

So sounds like spicy food is out altogether on dates? Doesn't mix with the fun bits!

I reflected on that situation and the story made me guess that your friend did not make a living as a tradesman. I worked much of my career as a telecom cable splicer. The joke was that a working man washes his hands b4 he pees, white collar after. But as once said by my favorite President, "I feel your pain".

That is a great story, one to be shared for the rest of your days. Have you got a copyright yet?

At Texas A&M where I went to college, they have a tradition called Midnight Yell. It's a essentially a pep rally in the stadium at midnight the day before a football game. At the end of all the cheering, the lights go out, and if you have a date, you kiss her. If you don't have a date, you flip a lighter and look for a girl who has a lighter as well and kiss her.

Well, I had a friend with me, but we hadn't officially made it to "dating" yet, but when I flipped my lighter, she responded as I hoped, and we had our first kiss.

Unfortunately, it was interuppted by someone beside us yelling, "YOUR HAIR IS ON FIRE!"

I had flicked my Zippo to put it out when we started kissing, but apparently the lid didn't close, and I set her hair on fire.

That first kiss was also our last kiss. Never could get her to date me after that.

Yeah, those Baptist girls will be at a pool, lake or beach in a swimsuit made from 2 shoe strings but can't dance. Go figger!

You know why Baptist girls don't believe in pre martial sex? (scroll down)

It might lead to dancing.

I'm rather embarrassed to say that I can't think of any great dating disasters But perhaps my idea of normal differs? ......sometimes I suspect that might be the case with life in general............
