Re: SSSSM - Part Deux

Maybe I'm thick as an iroko plank, but I don't see a tag, button or link labelled "bios", so am bemused.

I can find the Social Group thingy, and there's an option there to 'View All Members', and a list of everyone comes up, and under each of these is a brief 'Profile' thingy from the UserCP.

Is this what you mean or is there something else I should be looking at?

Re: SSSSM - Part Deux

In due time my dear, in due time. I would like to see the full Sea of Cortez while I am here. I would like also to make your acquaintance before I head off to the far blue horizon. There is never enough time to enjoy all the friends and acquaintances one finds on their trek through this life. Enjoy what you can, while you can. But above all, never have regrets for what you did not see or do in your brief time on this big blue marble.

Re: SSSSM - Part Deux

we are going to leave barra in spring for guaymas as a goal for less pricey haul and work so we could well cross paths a few times before bumping into each other...is where repair guy wants to go so is where we will head..we would have been there this summer but for my engine. boat decided on location....
summer here has positivities and skeeters..lol..and unreliable wifi. everything works out well and parts are dirt cheap here. i am impressed. if you ever need a pump rebuilder for an injector pump, the man to see is in this area.

never regret
never give up

Re: SSSSM - Part Deux

I'll be in the sea this winter as well. Maybe we should try to plan an SSSSM get-together? New Year's eve in La Paz?

Re: SSSSM - Part Deux

i will not be able to leave barra de navidad until later in winter..we doing important repairs of fuel line...and tankage....

but, christmas in barra de navidad is spozed to be awesome, as the place is named after christmas and was discovered on christmas in 1564. then after the easter rush i will be sailing north...or sometime around easter i think..no true plans do i ever make, as boat kills em...

yes we do need a west coast ssssmget together...those east coast kiddies have already had 2...

ye know, it is COLD in soc , aka golfo de california in winter......

Re: SSSSM - Part Deux

Fresca huh? LOL - rockin it old school! It's a date.
I'll be in the sea for the rest of the year, so we should have plenty of time to have a SSSSM get together, at least a 4 way. Let's see who else we can round up.

Re: SSSSM - Part Deux

i will be in barra de navidad for until spring, then try to get to guaymas for haulout and major repairs to structure of cockpit and galley area.
margo..i am on your way to la paz. stop into barra de navidad on your way to la paz.

lookoutnw....i will be here until spring. kinda immobile sorta.... is on mainland south of banderas bay. the anchorage here is better than banderas bay anchorage which actually sukks, as it is not protected from anything.
when ye go to la cruz, go to yayas cafe and give yaya sylvia a big hug from "her" patricio and me....lol...

if you come into barra, watch for the wave deflector--port side of channel, extends from the jetty. you dont wanna hit it..just keep inside the channel markers which are relocating selves constantly....
call me on mexican fone...ask and i will give it out. use depth sounder in lagoon fopr navigating as you will go aground here. i did 2 times so far, with 3 more to go ......soft is ok as mud is just mucky silt....and always is a panga for a few hundred pesos to pull ye off bars....and the way into lagoon as a lil tricky, but this is a wonderful rest stop with a delivery to boat french baker. cannot top this. cannot miss this.
anchor here with 150 ft chain and a nice oversized anchor. depth is around 10 ft and is silt on hardpan. much runoff made less silt. it is worth the soft grounding you will do to get into this place. is awesome gorgeous here

btw if you hard ground here we will see you and come save your lives...rodlmffao
if we have enough lead time we may even bring a beer...lol
