Re: SSSSM - Part Deux

I thought I had added these pics. This is the boat I just got my hands on a couple of months ago.

This is my first sailboat and I am loving it so far. Mathew scared the hell out of me but I couldn't even tell she had been in high winds. Will be moving onboard as soon as I sell the house.

Re: SSSSM - Part Deux

it seems I've clicked the wrong button and canceled my membership to this group.

I'm a single male of 60 years, am looking for a life long cruising female partner, of comparable age. I have a bio on the cruising forum under the tag tinkrman69. will refill the bio here when zI figure it out again. I've been away for a while, finding out if a certain lady and I would be a good match on the sea. It turns out that she would rather just do vacation trips and live in one port for most of the year. We split ways mutually as friends. Altho out months along the coast of florida and this last month in the bahamas was a lot of fun, it wasn't the life she wanted.

So, am I back on this forum?

Re: SSSSM - Part Deux

Hello- New to the group and just saying hi. I am a 44 year old in the PNW and just getting into sailing. My end game is to liveaboard for about 5 years and gain experience then quit the rat race and head south for sun and adventure. At least that is the brochure version. I am a full time single dad and my youngest will be and adult in 2 years so I am on the 3 year plan to purchase a boat. Looking for someone like minded as I am sure we all are. For now I am reading and learning from the wealth of knowledge on this site.

Re: SSSSM - Part Deux

Sitting in my living room here in Wisconsin listening to the wind gusting 5o 35mph making the windchill way below zero thinking about the foot and a half of snow covering my boat. Just thought I'd share that and see if it makes any of you jealous.

Re: SSSSM - Part Deux

Nope, no jealousy at all. altho I did have to break out a blanket last week, it must have got down to 72 or 3, in Key West I try to sail the butter rule, but some times I get stuck a little further north than i want.

Worm wishes to ya tho, I hope its a mild winter fer ya'lls, up thataway.
