Re: SSSSM - Part Deux

I will probably get into trouble for this , but........

.....on the finding a Woman (or fella) who would be happy to cut all land ties and sail off into the unknown (for her), to face all manner of News/ Hollywood inspired dangers from Pirates, to Kracken to "killer" storms.

Whilst it would be nice meeting a financially secure (or better ) woman walking along my dock, at the exact same time as me - who already knows what the sailing / cruising experiance is all about........and thinks I am the best thing since sliced bread (i.e is registered blind. and deaf ).......perhaps widening the net to those Women for whom life has not worked out as hoped for (3 Divorces, kids grown up and gone and few prospects of her own, financially / fella wise), so not much (if anything) to leave behind (if a Woman is already nicely set up ashore, independently then especially after a certain age heading off into the WBY is a big ask - and arguably mostly a very risky decision)......I am not (neccessarily ) talking of a trawl through a trailer park, after a Tornado ..........

Probably does sound a bit mercenary, but IMO in many respects a LTR is like a business deal.

Of course the prospect of marriage on the table is not the same as marriage..........

Re: SSSSM - Part Deux

Hi DOJ! I always enjoy your humor, and the wise thoughts behind it. You're young & cute - the women must be lining up!

Since I'm older, and perhaps wiser than I used to be, I find myself seeking something I never would have thought of back then. Companionship, humor ease and kindness, and a willingness to live on a boat is all I need. Marriage and kids far off the table; forever after only happens one day at a time. Oh, plus lots of shared sack time. Boy toy, why not! Mature and experienced, yum.

But I think I might have to stop cruising and stay in one place for a while to have any chance of finding a candidate.

Meanwhile, it's planning for a trip to Panama and beyond.

Re: SSSSM - Part Deux

There might be many boy-toys in Annapolis during the boatyshow to sail off to Panama, flyfly. Boatyshows are boy toy bait. =)

Suggested sites for the women

Perhaps the men as well. It's just that the advice given is geared toward women on these sites but it's all practical advice. Enjoy!

Re: SSSSM - Part Deux

I looked at those sites and now have an overwhelming urge to go to the mall and shop for shoes.

Ok I am over it now
