Re: SSSSM - Part Deux

When I was in the Clearwater Beach Marina I rented a car for the week. Talking to the guy at the rental agency he asked me if I was not worried about the danger of sailing my boat in the open ocean and I replied it was more dangerous driving around Clearwater than sailing.

that is truth. and same for all cities. open ocean is much safer.
fly sci will have a buncha buncha burn in love of physical therapy and recovery post trauma, but she will be ok.

Very sad indeed, rest in peace Margo. Since this woman was a fellow Sailor I was wondering if anybody out there tell us more about her life, her passions and how she lived as opposed to how she died. Thank you

margo was a scientist who studied fruit flies. is how she and i became friends. my brother had a fruit fly named after him, and we got to being friends from that. she was retired when i met her and she was sailing he boat, a cst 36, from new bern to guaymas. i helped her find assistants during that, and assistance. she went thru canal and sailed pacific north to barra where i met her, and on to guaymas. she loved animals, and was a private kinda gal. good soul and interesting conversationalist. i know not what else to say.
r i p margo roark aka fly sci.

.....Both of her sons, Sean and Kirk, made it to Tucson and had talked to her shortly before ...

Re: SSSSM - Part Deux

Attending the passage of a friend or family from this world's life, is an extremely sobering experience, and the grieving is just there with you the whole time.

Condolences to Margo's friends and families.

Ann
