When I was a boy my momma would send me down to the corner store with $1 and I would come back with 5 potatoes, 2 loaves of bread, 3 bottles of milk, a hunk of cheese, a box of tea and 6 eggs. Can't do that now, too many f**kn security cameras.

I'm still in NC, working on engine and electrical system and looking for crew. Hope I don't have to spend the winter here.

I'm here dodging typhoons and TS's. 4th one just passed by. Not all that bad since we're on the west side of the Island and they have to cross the mountains to hit us (storms here tend to come from the East), but we do get some rain and a bit of wind, nothing too serious so far though. To keep busy I finished a 30+ footer and am about to start a 50' of local design. Keeps me out of trouble anyway. Such is life in the jungle here. Take care!

Seems there are a few of us in or near NC. I'm buyin' the first round if ya'll show up in Wrightsville Beach, Wilmington, Hampstead, or Sneads Ferry. Margo, where are ya?

both partyin and readying go hand in hand--- cant ready a boat, it seems, without folks coming by to party, as i recall---and they all say they will miss ye and all that good schmaltz---- but the sailing makes ye kinda forget for a bit, unless ye wanted one to with ye--then ye miss em a lil more but the sailing is sooooo gooood.......
