Re: SSSSM - Part Deux

Zee, Thanks for the warm welcome and for the directions to your chat site.
Even though I signed up on this site looking for my first mate/lady I'm definitely wanting to make more sailing friends/male and female. My plans our to sail South this May once the weather clears off the Washington and Oregon Coast.. Until then I'm living aboard my 37' Endeavour sloop in Seattle, I grew up living on the water and now that my kids are raised and I'm single and back on the water!

Re: SSSSM - Part Deux

margo--there are parts available to repair those pumps in mexico--if you need to bus here somewhere, might hep--make sue you go to a big city and find the industrial places where the parts are found in lil tiendas.....when i get to a bigger city place, let me know what you need..might work something out for a bus ride -- bubba cant go , so i am stuck with boat -- but isnt hard to find me.....
find a mechanic who is trustworthy.... can be a difficulty....

Re: SSSSM - Part Deux

Zee, mechanics are here now installing new pump. Seem to have found a cracked joint at a point after pump where is leaking. MAy need weld. Crossing my fingers.

Boatman, I trust them both to be just what they are. Both need lots of routine maintenance, and can quit on ya at any moment. Still love men tho, engines not so much! LOL
