Thank goodness the kids are now safe and Maffei has been apprehended by the FBI off Monterey.

I wonder if the authorities should know of that thread. Easy enough to trace back to an IP address. It would give motive to a premeditated event.

Well, well......

Since he got most, if not all his information from you I assume that his choice of boat for the trip to Thailand (or even Mexico ) was influenced by you. Shame.

If the authorities do come knocking be careful how much info you give them. He may have a defense using your Hunter info and the latter part of his insanity when they find out the little ones, once under way and given the destination, revolted on the grounds of insufficient boat for the trip.

-------------------------------------------------------------------

Being an ex-Gem owner I reserve the right to poke at Hunters some - this being the first ever.

Just a sidepoint: he is a CF member, so I assume the "be nice" rule applies.

The guy on the lamb with children with a pilfered boat is a member here? Maybe he will post about his adventure here when he posts bail. Would be an interesting thread.
