So if “institutional racism” really did exist, whose fault would that be?

Well you better just get used to it then and thanks for the tinfoil hat

No stage Irishman ever says “ blimey”

No good sticking your tongue in and sipping. If you cant finish a pint of bitter in four or five large swallows you will never like it.

Your tongue tastes bitter things at the back, sweet things at the front.

Pour it in, to the back of your mouth and down your throat. Lovely.

It was a weak brewed drink to satisfy the agricultural and factory workers thirsts after they knocked off work.

If every pint of bitter tasted as good as the pint you get after taking the Bass Brewery tour in Burton upon Trent, I would drink nothing else.

Unfortunatly, they do not.

English bitter is a relatively recent drink. Largely came to prominence after ww1 as an alternative to the heavier darker ales. It’s brewed with top fermenting ale yeast and therefore is a “ pale ale”

Fellow sailors...

I spotted an albino dalmatian the other day.

It was the least I could do for the little fella!

Re: The 2021 & 2022 Joke Threads

Only one paramedic responded to the call.

Due to a power outage the house was very dark, so the paramedic asked Kathleen, a 3-yr old girl to hold a flashlight high over her mummy so he could see while he helped deliver the baby.

Very diligently, Kathleen did as she was asked. Heidi, the mother, pushed and pushed and after a little while Connor was born.

The paramedic lifted him by his little feet and spanked him on his bottom. Connor began to cry.

The paramedic then thanked Kathleen for her help and asked the wide-eyed 3-yr old what she thought about she had just witnessed...

Kathleen quickly responded, "He shouldn't have crawled in there in the first place....smack his ass again!"

You sound like you might be an Irishman. I used to race motorbikes with the late Fred O'Callahan who was a chemist at St James Street. He had the scruffiest Norton 500 twin I have ever seen but it kept going and was fast.

I've sunk a few pints in the Barge at Ranelagh and in the old, now long gone, Central Hotel.

Might be going alongside in Dublin later this year. We are doing the East Coast, IOM and perhaps a bit of North Wales on the way back.

Re: The 2021 & 2022 Joke Threads

I spent some time living in Somerset and got introduced to "scrumpy" ....cheap man's beer....which is an apple cider..typically locally produced with a different alcohol content..
Tried as I might....I never took to it....

I must say nothing beats an old english pub....some real classics in places...luvly...
