Courtesy of today's XKCD:

At first I was confused about why wanted me to carry a Geiger Counter here, but then it clicked.

At first I didn't get why they were warning me about all those birds sitting on the wire, but then I understood.

Re: The 2021 & 2022 Joke Threads

I had issues with NG pidgin several years ago.

I could not understand why, before commencinig a journey, one would "throw him 'way leg"....

Surely, you'd need both legs....???

Remind of the old joke:

A drunk man is trying to get into his house and is struggling to insert the key into the deadbolt.

A cop walks buy and ask him: hey buddy! What are you doing?
- just trying to get into my house but the key just does not fit
Cop: let me try, hand me the key
Cop: Hey buddy this is not a key, is a suppository!!
Drunk: ****! I think I know where the key is?
