Re: The 2021 & 2022 Joke Threads

75mph is more like 120km/h.

Come to the German Autobahn, as long as it is still possible and not too busy. 250km/h can still be done (roughly 160mph)

Re: The 2021 & 2022 Joke Threads

The speed limit in Florida might be 70 mph, but I can guarantee, that on the interstate, even the slow people drive at 80 and people doing 90-100 are common.

Two weeks ago I had to be in Sedona AZ ( beautiful geography) for work in a local medical society (I own a small medical devices distribution). In many sections of the road the speed limit was 75MPH, and I found myself turning from what would be considered a hot head in FL to just one of the guys in AZ. [emoji23]

70MPH is equal to 110km/h. It is the usual maximum open road speed in Oz.

There are some exceptions.....in the far outback of NSW there are stretches where 120km/h is allowed.

Until relatively recently the open outback sections of the one road through the Northern Territory were unlimited for its full length, but that has recently been limited to I think 130km/h for all but a 300km stretch north of Alice Springs.

Yeah, I know but in my defence I wasn't really looking at the literary content.

The Queen is dead

Freddie Mercury met her at the pearly gates
And so from one Queen to another, he sang to her one of his biggest hits…

Another one bites the dust

My wife wouldn't let me play that one at our wedding.

But when a relative passed away, at his funeral they played a playlist he had put together. It turns out you can make them play whatever you want at your funeral.

You know what song is going to be on the top of my playlist...
