Re: The 2021 Joke Thread

The CDC is now recommending wearing TWO masks, as a way to get a better seal around your nose and mouth.
It's also a good statistical approach, to get the average American to wear ONE mask.

[Sorry, that was a mean joke.]

Re: The 2021 Joke Thread

Q: What do I miss most, about the good old days?
A: I wasn’t old, and I certainly wasn’t good.

Wasn't mean, and unfortunately it is too true.

I liked the two postings below from El Pinguino.

I liked what I heard on the BBC some while back regarding the Berlin?, Germany subway.

Signs were posted asking the riders to not shower and not use anti-deodorants...

Seems the reasoning was to encourage social distancing and mask wearing.

Brilliant!

Re: The 2021 Joke Thread

Somebody once told me that I was very mean.
I said that's not true, sometimes I'm very median.

(Sorry, that was an average joke)

Me (at the numbers store): “Can I please purchase all of these averages?”
Clerk: “Sure, buy all means”

(Admittedly a median joke, at best)

Re: The 2021 Joke Thread

Little Johhny and little Janie are playing in the park....
They get to bragging....
Johhny " our house is bigger than your house...
Janie " our car is bigger than your car.....

This goes on for a while, until in exasperation, little Johnny pulls down his shorts and sez" well, I've got one of these and you don't"....
Recognizing this as true, little Janie runs home crying to her mother....

The next day, little Janie approaches little Johnnny, pulls down her drawers and tells little Johnny " my mom sez not to worry, I've got one of these, and having one of these I can have all of those I want"

What's an anti-deodorant? A spray bottle of cat-pee?

Your mode of telling jokes could do with a little standardisation.

If you were into cars, that could almost be a triumphant approach.

Re: The 2021 Joke Thread

The BBC called it "one giant step for billionaire-kind."

Re: The 2021 Joke Thread

I guess the petition going around to keep Bezos from returning to Earth wasn't effective.

Re: The 2021 Joke Thread

The Headline and lede for the article at The Rgister:
Good news: Jeff Bezos went to space. Bad news: He's back

Baldly going where beardy has gone before, except a bit higher
