They say, you should test your fire alarm, at least, once a year.
But, it's costing me a fortune, in houses!

I just failed a fire safety course, when they asked what steps I would take, in case of an explosion.
Apparently, “bloody large ones”, wasn’t an acceptable answer.

Some years ago, I was on a visit to a game reserve in South Africa.

I decided to treat myself and my companion and have dinner at a restaurant in the game reserve camping grounds.

Perusing the menu, I noticed that " zebra" was listed as one of the meat selections.
Having never had zebra, I thought to myself, this I've got to try.

In due time, dinner was brought out, and the meat looked no different from any other meat.

With tongue in cheek, I asked the waiter "where are the stripes on the meat?"
Without skipping a beat he informed me that " the stripes will be tasted on the tongue"
