Re: The Mallorca Squad

Thinking of getting this.

The Leopard 40F is our first in the line of foiling cruising cats. The Leopard 40F can reach a top speed of 40 knots, making ocean crossings both comfortable and fast!

Re: The Mallorca Squad

Four more weeks to go until I head back over to Sardegna. Just got finished shoveling two inches of snow this morning with temps below freezing, 30 miles north of Boston here in Whoville. The ponds and lakes are still frozen over and no spring flowers have come up. April 9th.

I usually ride my bicycle daily all winter long, haven't been on it since.... December 1st. Yuck.

Re: The Mallorca Squad

I share your pain Ken! For the first time since January we don't have snow in the next week's forecast! (I won't count the freezing rain forecast for tomorrow morning.) We woke up to abut 4" Tues morning which was hopefully the last of it. The streets are clear but everything else is still buried under banks of ice.

Our concern at the moment is the robins. They obviously didn't get the memo that winter wasn't over. They're all back & apparently some are starving to death as there are no bare spots to find worms and any berries left on shrubs are buried under the snow. Apparently they don't eat bird seed so many of us are feeding berries & fresh or dried fruit. All wildlife had suffered badly this winter. The deer can't run thru the deep, crusted snow. The coyotes can run on top of it now so they're bringing down deer. Raptors can't get at the rodents that are under the snow. Juvenile bobcats (not yet great hunters) are starving too. Not to mention the broken branches on lots of shrubs & trees.

Seven more weeks until I KNOW there will be sun ...

Re: The Mallorca Squad

Bummer! I hope the paella was a good one. Where are your favourites?

Any other potential boats?
