I'm anchored in Santa Ponsa near the warning marker surrounded by Jeanneaus, are you nearby? Is it easy to catch the bus into Palma from Santa Ponsa?

Wed afternoon works for us. What time Weavis?

Also Weavis, I understand there is a camping/survival/weapons store near Plaza Espana. I don't suppose you know where do you?

We're back in Palma now awaiting a Std Horizon cable & the passerelle man. We were up close to the marina entrance; if you noticed a big Canadian flag, that was us.

2:00 works for us. Going to try and talk capitangiorg into coming along... he's anchored next to us here in Santa Ponsa. I'd also be interested in the weapons/survival store.

Robert,

You didn't miss us. I'll be anchored here for another two weeks, and weavis will be here for most of July. Just get in contact when you arrive, and we can meet up again for Mallorca #2.

Ah, one question...

How do we recognize each other? Weavis, do they know you at the bar?

re: The Mallorca Squad

Ken,
Thanks for the comeback, we expect to make Menorca before this weekend, weather permitting and after doing a week there we will be moving into your neck of the woods. Will drop a note to you when we are heading your way. Will Prairie Chicken still be around, can't have too many Canadians in one spot? It will be fun to put faces on to the names.

What? He's Canadian, you're Canadian... and I'll make it three. And my wife could see Canada from her back yard in Buffalo. Bet you didn't know.

re: The Mallorca Squad

Well happy (almost) Canada Day!

RS, we'll be around until the middle of Jul, then back again in Sep so Gathering 2 might be doable.

We are still sorting out the new boat & were out a couple of weeks ago. We hadn't planned on anchoring, but all was well & decided to enjoy a night on the hook. The next day we returned to port & found a Canadian boat right next to us. This hasn't happened in 21 years so it was a bit of a surprise! Our Dutch neighbor was a bit concerned about our absence the first night, knowing we were still in shake-down mode. Anyhow, on our return he came over to tell us he had been concerned & called the coast guard to report a missing Canadian boat, & they told him not to worry, they'd send another one right over! .

See you all soon....
