Sa Calobra.
It is extremely easy to fall off the path.

I hear ya Weav, but then I come across another traditional looking boat with a classic shear line and, lo & behold, I'm back to wobbly knees and irrational thoughts.

Re: The Mallorca Squad

So I was thinking. It would appear that a vacation like Kenomacs is spattered with lots and lots of work to do on the vessel. Weeks of prep and then days of replacement and maintenance.

I loved the concept behind the MacGregor designs, No wood, No fancy equipment and as maintenance free as possible. That appeals.

I dont really want to be knee deep in replacing this and that on a boat. Somehow it takes the joy our of it.

time to design boat stuff that lasts a bit longer.

Now there is a thought.

There was a nice example of a 65 on the hard in Almerimar a coupla months back when I was stuck waiting on my new gearbox..
4 telegraph poles.. another hull, some string and you've got a Wharram..

FOr whatever reason, I do like the 65. In full sail it looks gorgeous.

SaltyMonkey's Law of ThermoBananas

Boatlength = Work^ Boatlength

Boatlength + Woodlength = Work^(Boatlength * Woodlength)
