If its about sailing for 6 years, a cheaper Cat and 300K in your pocket means you can budget at 50K a year. You dont have to go work for 6 months until the next break.

Assets at home, you can re evaluate in 6 years........

Ive seen some beautiful cheaper cats in the 40-50 foot range.

Ive come to realise that the most important thing is Time.

Make the most of it.
We're not interested in cheap, only interested in high quality, solid build and after service. We could stop working today and cruise comfortably for the next 20 years, it's not a matter of putting more money in the bank. My wife wants to work for three more years. I work six months in order to relieve boredom on Massachusetts. Since I don't watch TV, I work as an RN to fill up the time when I'm not hunting or cycling.

Re: The Mallorca Squad

5:30 am.
Waiting on a phone call to head down to the marina and go mast checking and sailing this morning.
Going to be a nice day.

Be nice to get out early doors and make some Bacon Sandwiches.

Re: The Mallorca Squad

Well.
The bacon sandwiches went down good.
Left the boys changing turnbuckles and something else that broke...

Sailing is so wonderful.

Re: The Mallorca Squad

I think we both prefer our view over your English view of a bacon sandwich. The weather is still beautiful here for at least another five weeks, and we now have the whole place to ourselves. That's us in the bay.
