I'm glad you guys, with some help from Wiki, have got Canadian bacon figured out. Next question, do you English eat English bacon as we do sometimes in Canada?

There is ONLY English Bacon.

The rest has to be defined by country..............

I have a brother who's a doc, and my experience is that docs have the best methods of giving advice about good eating habits to their patients, but have the worst (or is it best??) eating habits themselves!

Hers is the real problem.
50% of what people believe comes from medical sources that in 20 years will be proven to be false or motivated by political reasoning..

Take butter for example.

All of a sudden margarine is not so good for you after all.

There is only Bacon. And its English.

The rest is differentiated by name.
