I'm not offended. Where did you read that?

I love political jokes. Even if they're not that funny. My friend is just wondering why some political "jokes" are OK, and others aren't.

Re: The New Joke Thread

Priest is walking down the street in the inner city, hooker approaches him and askes, Hey Father, how about a bj, only $20? The priest kindly refuses. As he's walking along he is wondering, what the heck is a bj? So he decides to ask mother superior if she knows what a bj is. So he goes to the convent and says, mother superior, whats a bj? She says, $20, same a downtown.

Because some political jokes are based on Hate, and others on stupidity on the politicians part.
Stupidity can be funny, but Hate should not be something one wants to advertise. That's unless that's who you are!

I'm going to have to ask you to point to an example of one of these hate based political posts.

I don't recall ever seeing one posted here, but I could be wrong.

That's because the majority of the bad ones have been deleted. Thanks to the Mods. I use to be an Admin on here years ago and did my fair share deleting unruly posts.

Sorry, if you took it wrong. It was not directed at "you" personally. It was directed at the Haters.

We've all stumble here, including myself.

I agree many of yours from last year strike me that way.

But hey, it's been made pretty clear this thread is pretty much anything goes, so this libtard snowflake just grew a pair and sucks it up.

We here on the Cf are from both sides of the equator. Some of us spin to the right, some spin to the left. But we SHOULD try to flounder in the dulldrums. It makes it smoother sailing for all.

As I stated before, I don't recall any. But I'm perfectly willing to review any that I've posted that you care to point to specifically. Since you claim there are many of them, it should be very easy for you to produce a few examples. Remember, the key word here is jokes based on hate. Don't confuse that with jokes that you hate.

I'm the type who respects a man who has the foresight to check the weather forecast and stays out of a storm. A little bit of common sense goes a long way.

Re: The New Joke Thread

There have been some fairly trying jokes the last two days, and a whole lot of moderator discussion here, which is a no-go, guys. I don't really want to close the thread, because I like the joke thread. But if you all keep pushing the sides of the cage to see where the limits are, we'll get tired of it, and all it will take is one of us waking up on the wrong side of the bed. For your information, mods are not all the same. Most moderation is done by consensus. However, if something is really wrong, any one of us who might happen to feel grumpy at the moment, can close a whole thread.

Personally, I'd appreciate it if someone will come up with a joke that gives me a smile or a chuckle tomorrow.

Thanks,

Ann

These last several posts were not funny at all!

Chuck Norris doesn't ever call the wrong number. You just answer the wrong phone.

Recently, a police patrol stopped Chuck Norris when he was driving along. They got off with only a warning.

When monsters go to bed, they check underneath for Chuck Norris.

Children pee their names into snow. Chuck Norris pees his in cement.

Chuck Norris is the only guy who can slam a revolving door.
