Re: The New Joke Thread

What do you call an excitable small black insect that used to work for a multi national transportation company?

An exuberant ex-uber ant.

I took a video of my shoe yesterday...

It was some pretty good footage.

I finally have proof that somewhere on the WWW is a forum full of librarians cracking word jokes at each other.

Re: The New Joke Thread

Ha. When I was a kid and catching snakes all the time I was always trying to torture them by tying them in a knot. Damn little critters always got loose!

Luckily I grew more intelligent as I got older

You must have been tying slip knots.

The New Joke Thread

This may get some animal lovers upset, but it was a temporary thing.
As a kid fishing we caught a lot of smaller sharks, you could take a pair of pliers and bend their nose up, and when you turned them loose, they couldn’t submerge, the nose forced them to the surface

Re: The New Joke Thread

When I was a kid we used to race snails and bet on the outcome.
I tried to cheat (I know this may upset animal lovers) by removing their shells to make them lighter and faster,

But if anything, it just made them more sluggish.

I watched to the end, and you know, that sneaky squirrel managed to spin some of the seeds out to the ground where he could get at them himself! I laughed a lot before I saw it, though. Thanks for the chuckle.

Maybe we could do without the misanthropic jokes?
