Trust me, someone who knows how and wants to can pretty easily put all that together.
I had a call from USAA the other day, the phone number was correct, location San Antonio Tx was correct. I answered, the lady informed me there had been suspicious activity on my card and wanted to be sure I hadn’t made those purchases, wanted my PIN number, which is normal when you talk to USAA.
However I got suspicious so she said well I can disclose some of your info if you want, she gave me the last four of my SS and my mailing address.

Anyway I hung up and called USAA, spoke to their fraud dept. they hadn’t called, it wasn’t them. The lady wasn’t surprised at all that their telephone number had been spoofed or that they had my full name and SS and mailing address and of course knew I was a USAA member.
Said it happens all the time.
