Sure did and do!
"Lake" Superior might be a reference to Lake Effect, a literary journal based at the Erie campus of Penn State University. Stories that have previously appeared in Lake Effect have been anthologized in the Best American Short Stories.

Maybe he's just using CF as an outlet for some of his different efforts? I mean, if we're going to take a riff on PART of somebody's screen name.
