The hat above, sort of reminds me during the early days of the pandemic and I was in line at the check out for the grocery store wearing a facemask, as was the norm, and keeping more than a shopping cart distance away from everyone and I turned around and the lady in line behind me was wearing a facemask that had tiny printing on it that I could not read from the distance we were keeping so I leaned a bit closer and then could see that it said: "If you can read this, WE are standing too close!" which of course caused me to step back from having encroached closer to her to read her mask.

I really appreciated that it was inclusive by her choice of We versus You as to the pronoun. We were all in it together.

I swear to this day, the two of use smiled to each other behind our masks; one could see the smile in the twinkle of our eyes.

I would love to get a face mask with similar statement in small print for use when I travel.

I am gladdened to report that tonight, I finally tested negative for Covid after having spent about 3 weeks with the bug. So glad to be done with it and to now be able to hug and cuddle with my wife again. Picked up the bug having travelled to the United Arab Emirates for ten day business trip during the second half of January; a wonderful and productive trip, the first major travel in three years and my first to the Middle East. Likely shall be back again to the UAE many times this year in preparation for presentation of our innovative and transformative climate change mitigation solutions at the UAE's hosting of COP28 this year; kindly being sponsored by various supportive and proactive UAE Royal family members and ministers.
